Why Humanism For Ghana?

Ghana has huge potential in terms of natural resources and the ingenuity of Ghanaians. Yet we often feel these resources are wasted or not used effectively.

Our education system discourages young people from exploring ideas, independent thought and discovering new solutions to problems.

We sometimes become complacent saying leave it to God instead of taking personal responsibility for our lives. We accept misfortune as part of a divine plan instead of working against the causes of misfortune.

Instead of uniting we look with suspicion at our brothers and sisters.

We sometimes fall victim to scams whether they be related to work, health or religious belief.

Humanism seeks to help people to take control of their own lives and to live this life to the fullest.
